Foam Copper
Foam copper is widely used in the preparation of battery anode carrier materials, electrode substrates for lithium-ion batteries or fuel cells, battery catalyst carriers, and electromagnetic shielding materials. Particularly as a substrate for battery electrodes, foam copper offers several distinct advantages.
Liquid Flow Battery Electrodes
This product serves as an electrode for flow batteries, offering superior performance compared to conventional electrode materials. Utilising conductive sponge as the substrate, it undergoes processes including electroplating of metallic nickel, high-temperature oxidation, and hydrogen-protected reduction to produce high-performance foamed nickel. The product exhibits excellent strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance. It can be manufactured into continuous roll-type foamed nickel or sheet-type foamed nickel according to specific application requirements, with various thicknesses available.
Coral Anode - WT Series
This series of products possesses a specific surface area far exceeding that of conventional foam metals and is exclusively applicable to anodes. Employing an in-situ growth method, the LTH (triple-layer hydroxide) catalyst is cultivated upon the foam nickel surface. This catalyst exhibits strong binding affinity, withstands alkaline solution erosion, and forms a coral-like structure. This significantly increases active sites and reduces the oxygen evolution potential by 450 mV. The hydroxide catalyst remains unaffected by anode corrosion, ensuring extended longevity.
Conductive Sponge
This product utilises polyurethane foam sponge as its base material, which undergoes PVD conductive treatment and thickening processes involving the electroplating of metals such as nickel and copper. This ensures conductivity throughout all dimensions of the sponge. The product possesses sound-absorbing and noise-reducing properties, whilst also offering shielding against electromagnetic radiation.
